Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region in Tucson, AZ seeks a CT Technologist to join a 40-hour, staff position with 8-hour shifts. The role performs CT procedures, prepares patients, administers contrast, and ensures radiation safety under radiologist protocols.

Required: ARRT CT certification within 2 years, ARRT-R&N, AZ MRTBE, and BLS; 1 year radiologic technologist experience preferred. Carondelet Health Network offers a supportive team and a bonus up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of radiologic technologist experience.
• CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures for diagnosis per radiologists' protocols.
• Prepares and positions patients; selects parameters accurately.
• Administers contrast media within scope and regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormalities.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Verifies patient identity and order accuracy.
• Inputs requisitions and provides image history to radiologists.
• Starts IV access and administers IV injections as needed.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per CHN policies.

Education

Graduate of an accredited radiology program

ARRT - R&N certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

ARRT- CT certification (within 2 years of hire)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - AHA
