Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging and related procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. Located in New Jersey, the role involves patient preparation, contrast administration, and collaboration with radiology staff.

The candidate will work with EPIC, PACS, and Teletracking systems, adhere to infection control standards, and participate in QA activities while supporting students and residents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and/or GED equivalent.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Performs complex CT procedures and related techniques.
• Evaluates radiographs for proper identification and diagnostic value.
• Preps patient and ensures safety according to protocols.
• Assists with CT-guided interventional procedures as required.
• Administers contrast following department protocols.
• Communicates with patients clearly and documents questions/concerns.
• Performs venipuncture, IV patency, and maintenance procedures.
• Monitors patient condition during the procedure.
• Performs QA on modality daily and monthly.
• Provides instruction to students, employees, and residents.
• Adheres to infection control guidelines and imaging safety standards.
• Lifts and moves patients as required and participates in on-call rotations.
