Job summary

The CT Technologist at Carle Health Spokane performs computerized axial tomography procedures using imaging equipment and contrast materials, following established policies and safety protocols. You will review orders, administer IV contrast when appropriate, and produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.

This role supports patient flow, mentors students, and may assume lead or coordinating duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years radiology experience
• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - Illinois Emergency Management Agency
• Registered in Radiography (R) within 1 year - ARRT
• Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) within 1 year - ARRT
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) within 1 year - NMTCB

Responsibilities

• Performs computerized axial tomography procedures and related invasive procedures
• Administers IV contrast and oral/rectal contrast when appropriate
• Ensures patient safety and image quality; reviews history for medical necessity
• Mentors students and new staff as necessary; may assume CT Lead duties when needed
