Responsibilities

• Performs CT examinations and other diagnostic imaging procedures per physician orders and protocols.
• Performs general radiography and fluoroscopy as required.
• Assesses and monitors patients to ensure safety and comfort during imaging.
• Produces high-quality diagnostic images with post-processing as needed.
• Transfers images to PACS and other imaging systems for interpretation.
• Maintains accurate patient records, documentation, and billing information.
• Adheres to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
• Performs routine equipment maintenance and quality assurance checks.
• Adheres to radiation safety and infection prevention protocols.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy, while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT): Required
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• Fluoroscopy license (where required): Required
• Advanced CT Certification (ARRT-CT): Preferred
• Venipuncture certification: Preferred

Essential Functions
