Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking a Computed Tomography Tech to operate CT equipment and produce diagnostic cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation. The role includes performing CT procedures along with general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) certification, CA Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility), BLS, and venipuncture/IV certification. Advanced CT certification is preferred or required in some locales.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
• Certification and licensure requirements are mandated for CA practice.
• Advanced CT certification is preferred in CA, required in other regions.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Transfers images through PACS and teleradiology systems.
• Maintains accurate patient records, files, and billing information.
• Maintains patient image and data confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Performs equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Manages imaging supply inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• ARRT R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) certification (Required)
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in state of practice (Required in CA)
• Advanced CT certification (Required in OR/HI, Preferred in CA)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Fluoroscopy license (Required in CA when operating fluoroscopy equipment)
• Venipuncture/IV certification (Required)
