Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a CT Technologist (SEIU) to operate CT equipment and obtain cross-sectional images for diagnostic interpretation. The role includes additional procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy in a clinical setting.

The position requires ARRT CT certification, state Radiologic Technologist licensure, and BLS certification. A fluoroscopy license is required; CT advanced certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT CT certification or equivalent.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license required.
• Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) required.
• Venipuncture certification preferred.
• Advanced CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients from adolescence through geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records, files and billing information while protecting patient data (HIPAA).
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.

Education

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology

ARRT CT certification (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT))

CT Technologist (SEIU)

Job Summary

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Education & Experience

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required


• Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required


• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Preferred


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required


• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required


• Venipuncture certification: Preferred


• Fluoroscopy (FLUORO): Required

Key Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric


• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation


• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location


• Maintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations
