Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (CT) to operate CT equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy. The role prioritizes patient safety, image quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates will hold ARRT registration, an RT license in the state of practice, and BLS. Preferred are an Associate’s degree and Advanced CT certification. Ventipuncture certification is also desirable.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.

• Fluoroscopy license required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT examinations and other diagnostic imaging procedures per physician orders and protocols.
• Performs general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
• Assessses and monitors patients for safety and comfort during procedures.
• Produces high-quality diagnostic images and performs post-processing as applicable.
• Transfers images via PACS for physician interpretation.
• Maintains accurate patient records and billing information.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Performs routine equipment maintenance and QA checks.
• Adheres to radiation safety and infection prevention protocols.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required

Essential Functions

• Performs Computed Tomography (CT) examinations and other diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Performs general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures as required.
• Assesses and monitors patients before, during, and after imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Produces high-quality diagnostic images, including post-processing and image reconstruction when applicable.
• Transfers images using PACS and other imaging systems for physician interpretation.
• Maintains accurate patient records, documentation, and billing information.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
• Performs routine equipment maintenance, quality assurance checks, and inventory management.
• Adheres to radiation safety and infection prevention protocols.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
