Job summary

Akumin Operating Corp. is seeking a CT Technologist to ensure patient safety and produce high quality CT studies. You will communicate with radiologists and staff and may train new technologists or Patient Coordinators on site.

Requirements include ARRT CT certification (or NMTCB alternative where allowed), state imaging license, CPR, and a valid driver’s license. The role emphasizes strong customer service, organization and the ability to multitask in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • ARRT CT certification; NMTCB CT acceptable if state allows.
  • State license in Medical Imaging where applicable.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Active State Driver’s License is required for mid-day moves.
  • Strong customer service, organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard software.

Responsibilities

  • Produces high quality diagnostic CT images.
  • Ensures patient safety and pre-screening for radiation/contrast concerns.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, radiologists and staff.
  • Trains new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.
  • Troubleshoots CT scanner and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS).
