Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa is seeking a Part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures and support radiologists in a fast-paced environment. The role includes preparing patients and equipment, taking radiographs, providing patient education, and assisting with CT-guided procedures.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited radiography program, ARRT/NMTCB registered with a valid IDPH permit, and capable of working with diverse patient populations while upholding safety and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiography.
• ARRT or NMTCB registered; must have valid IDPH permit to practice; Mandatory Reporter; BLS.
• AR RT or NMCTB CT board certification required within 24 months of CT hire.
• Strong language, intermediate math, high reasoning ability.
• Computer skills preferred; ability to work independently with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient, room, and equipment for procedure.
• Take radiographic exposures appropriate to procedure.
• Perform multiple imaging procedures and assist Radiologist with special procedures.
• Provide patient education and ensure safety and infection control.
• Support with CT Guided Biopsies and 3D/angiographic scanning as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation and communication of findings for interpretation.
