Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa seeks a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform multiple imaging procedures under established parameters and to assist the Radiologist, ensuring continuity of patient care.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB registration, a valid IDPH permit, BLS, and mandatory reporting; CT/advanced CT board certification must be obtained within 24 months of CT hire. 16 hours per two weeks, on rotating shifts, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program with ARRT or NMTCB registration.
• Must hold valid IDPH permit to practice and be a Mandatory Reporter.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient, room, and equipment for procedures.
• Take radiographic exposures and perform imaging procedures as directed.
• Assist Radiologist with procedures and provide pertinent information for interpretation.
• Follow safety, infection control and department policies.
