Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Position to cover various open shifts as needed per department.
Major Responsibilities:
- Performs Computed Tomography procedures utilizing General Electric Revolution, Lightspeed, Brightspeed, and HD750 CT systems according to established protocols.
- Performs post-processing of images using reconstruction software tailored to the pathology or region of interest.
- Addresses and resolves minor customer complaints; refers complex issues to higher authority.
- Coordinates scheduling of inpatients and outpatients to optimize CT equipment and staff utilization.
- Performs Quality Assurance tests on CT equipment to ensure optimal image quality and performance.
- Maintains equipment safety through daily warm-up and calibrations; reports issues to appropriate personnel or GE service.
- Ensures cleanliness of diagnostic and support equipment.
- Obtains patient history, documents clinical information, and prepares images for radiologist review.
- Charges patient examinations and prepares materials for interpretation.
- Starts IVs, administers contrast, and monitors patient during procedures.
- Maintains inventory of medical supplies and initiates emergency support when needed.
Education/Experience Required:
- 12-24 months radiology experience
- Graduate of Radiologic Technology program
- 2 hours of stroke education annually
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and CT procedures
- Ability to perform routine CT procedures
- Good communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- ARRT Registry (RT), IDNS License, CPR, IV Certification within 3 months, CT registration within 1 year
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Respond to short notice requests
- Flexible start times, may involve shift rotations
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; patient handling equipment used for heavier lifts
- Potential exposure to infectious diseases
- Willing to work overtime and take call

Pay Range: $34.90 - $52.35
