Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Medical City Arlington seeks a PRN CT/Radiology Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT imaging with high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. The role supports patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting and requires compassion, safety, and patient interaction.

The ideal candidate is Texas-licensed MRT with ARRT CT and BLS, and has graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Qualifications

• Current License as an MRT by the State of Texas is required.
• ARRT CT certification is required.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the AHA or ARC is required.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
• Prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What you will do in this role:

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.

• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.

• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.

• You will release customers with proper post procedure instructions.

• You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.

• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current License as an (MRT) by the State of Texas required.

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (CT) required.

• Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
