Job summary

Owensboro Health Medical Group in Henderson, KY is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT certification to provide computed tomography imaging and patient care. You will position patients, apply ALARA, assist physicians, and maintain safety standards while delivering high-quality imaging services.

The role requires radiologic registrations (RT(R), RT(CT)) and BLS within 90 days; ROC certification is also required in KY.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Science or related field required upon hire.
• RT(R) registration in Radiology required upon hire.
• RT(CT) registration in CT required upon hire.
• ROC - Radiation Operator Certification required in KY upon hire.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Provides computed tomography imaging and patient care services at defined levels to patients.

Job Responsibilities

• Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Applies As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principle to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others.
• Implements radiation protection and safety standards.
• Prepares for and assists the physician in computed tomography procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
