Qualifications

• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (Epic) is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Radiology / Cardiology CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography imaging procedures in both radiology and cardiology settings. This role involves operating CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The CT Tech will float between units and must be capable of handling on-call duties and weekend shifts with a focus on maintaining excellent patient care and adherence to safety protocols.

Special Considerations:

• On-call required with 2-4 nights of call per month.
• Weekend shifts required (Saturday and Sunday from 14:00 to 22:30).
• Block scheduling is implemented to ensure consistent coverage.
• Float between units as needed.
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio during procedures.
• Always have two consecutive days off each week.
• 48-hour workweeks are not approved.

Scheduling:

• Full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) with scheduled shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 14:00 to 22:30.
• Additional two 8-hour shifts with variable hours each week.
• Weekend and on-call shifts are part of the regular schedule.
