Providence St. Joseph Medical Center seeks a CT Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under radiologist direction, ensuring timely, safe service for patients.

The role requires independent judgment and adherence to radiation safety standards, with duties spanning clinical and administrative tasks within the Radiology Department. Qualified candidates graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and obtain Montana licensure, BLS, ARRT Radiography, CT or Nuclear Medicine

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Montana Radiologic Technologist licensure required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography (ARRT) required upon hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: NRCT-CT credential.
• Within 1 year of hire: Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board credential.

Responsabilités

• Participate in department policy/procedure tasks and orientation programs.

The CT Technologist, under the direction of a radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The CT Technologist will provide services timely and efficiently, at appropriate levels to all patients and in all settings served by the department. This requires independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation in special procedures for a radiologic diagnosis, whether scheduled or emergent, while providing radiation protection according to prescribed safety standards. The CT Technologist will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Radiology Department's Policy and Procedures Manual; will assist in assigned administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs. He/she will also participate in the clinical activities, including call, within the outlined department.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Upon hire: Montana Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Within 1 year of hire National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography, or
• Within 1 year of hire National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year general radiology experience.

Pay Range

$35.52 - $55.15. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
