Providence St. Mary Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist in Diagnostic Imaging to perform CT scans and generate cross‑section images for diagnosis under radiologist supervision.

The role supports patient care with a focus on quality imaging, safety, and team collaboration in a patient‑centered environment. Required qualifications include completion of an accredited radiologic training program, Washington Radiologic Technologist credential upon hire, BLS, ARRT registrations, and CT

Qualifications

• ACRT: Completion of accredited radiologic training program.
• WA Radiologic Technologist credential required upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography and CT registrations required within specified timelines.
• Minimum 6 months CT scanning experience as an ARRT(R) technologist.

Responsabilités

• Perform cross-sectional CT imaging using CT scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Under radiologists’ supervision, ensure image quality and patient safety.
• Collaborate with department team to support patient-focused care.

Under the direction of the department Director/Manager or Lead and the medical direction of the Radiologists, the CT Technologist performs all phases of cross-sectional imaging. The CT Technologist utilizes CT scanners to produce cross-section images of patient's internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited radiologic training program.
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Within 1 year of hire National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography or
• Within 1 year of hire National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
• 6 months CT scanning experience as an ARRT(R) registered technologist.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year CT scanning experience as an ARRT(R)(CT) registered technologist.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
