UVM Health in New York, NY is seeking a CT radiographer to perform CT procedures in various settings, following hospital policy and NYS guidelines. The role requires professional conduct and assisting in all Radiology operations.

The candidate must hold NYS Department of Health licensure and ARRT registration, obtain ARRT CT credentials within two years, and be BLS certified. On-call CT duties are required per union contract with strong communication and calm demeanor essential.

Formación

• Must be licensed by the New York State Department of Health and be registered by ARRT (Radiographer).
• ARRT (CT) credentials must be obtained within two years.
• If not registered in time, a six-month extension is granted.
• NYSDOH certification to inject IV contrast within two months of orientation.
• On-call CT duties required per union contract.
• Positive and effective communication with physicians and staff in all situations.
• Ability to think quickly to deliver efficient quality care.
• BLS certification (or within 3 months).
• One year Radiographer experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs CT procedures in a variety of settings and locations on patients as ordered by licensed providers.
• Assist in all aspects of the Radiology Department operations.
