University of Vermont Health - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital is seeking a CT Radiographer to perform CT procedures across settings, under physician orders and in accordance with hospital policy and NYS guidelines. The role requires patient care, quick thinking, and collaboration with the Radiology team.

The position involves on-call CT duties per union contract, licensure in NYSDOH, ARRT CT credentials within two years, and BLS certification (or within 3 months).

Qualifications

• Must hold NYSDOH license and ARRT radiographer registration.
• ARRT CT credentials within two years.
• Extension of six months to achieve registration if needed.
• NYSDOH certification to inject IV contrast within two months.
• On-call in CT per union contract.
• Strong interpersonal skills for apprehensive patients and families.
• Effective communication with physicians and staff.
• Ability to think and act quickly in stressful situations to deliver quality care.
• BLS certification (or within 3 months).
• One year radiographer experience preferred.
