Qualifications

• Must be licensed by the New York State Department of Health and be registered by ARRT (Radiographer).
• Must obtain ARRT (CT) credentials within two years. Eligibility reviewed by employee and supervisor.
• Must be NYSDOH certified to inject IV contrast within two months of orientation.
• Will be responsible for on-call in CT per union contract.
• Requires strong communication with physicians, staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures in a variety of settings and locations as ordered by licensed providers.
• Assists in all aspects of Radiology Department operations.
• Maintains ethical and professional standards per hospital policy and NY state guidelines.
