RWJBarnabas Health in New Jersey seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations, assist radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to radiation safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT CT certification is required or preferred.
• Current NJ Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic computed tomography examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following QC/QA guidelines.
• Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently with adherence to radiation safety standards.
• Prepare, screen, educate, and position patients for CT procedures to ensure safety and optimal imaging.
• Monitor patients during imaging and respond to needs and concerns.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality prior to interpretation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and staff to support patient care and workflow.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per policies.
• Identify and report safety concerns, equipment issues, and environmental hazards.
• Ensure compliance with hospital, departmental, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
• Support quality improvement, patient satisfaction, and safety initiatives.

Graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
