Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in New Jersey is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations and support radiologists in diagnostic imaging. You will ensure patient safety, image accuracy, and efficient workflow in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires NJDEP Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT radiography certification, BLS, and readiness to participate in on-call rotations. CT certification is preferred. This is a night shift at Community Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• NJDEP Radiologic Technologist License required.
• ARRT registered in Radiography; CT certification preferred.
• BLS certification required; on-call rotations may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations following departmental protocols and physician orders.
• Prepare, screen, educate, and position patients for imaging.
• Operate CT scanners and power injectors per manufacturer guidelines and radiation safety standards.
• Acquire high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to QA guidelines.
• Maintain patient, radiation, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
• Provide imaging services for diverse patient groups including inpatients and outpatients.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and staff for timely care.
• Document and complete all departmental and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations as needed.
