Qualifications

  • Experience performing basic CT procedures
  • 1+ years of large facility experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between departments and support approved Radiology projects
  • Contribute to continuing education strategies for the CT Department
  • Provide teaching opportunities to technologists and students
  • Operate CT scanners and related devices safely and efficiently
  • Maintain optimized patient flow and exam sequence to minimize stay
  • Respond to contrast reactions and patient needs promptly
  • Complete mandatory education assignments
  • Perform routine CT procedures and grow into specialty studies
  • Set equipment parameters and educate patients about procedures
  • Support KU Hospital's mission and
  • Other duties as required
