Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will work with a collaborative care team to perform CT exams, ensure accurate patient identifiers, and apply ALARA dose reduction strategies in a busy radiology department.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R/CT and BLS certifications, and at least 1 year

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging and radiographic equipment safely; apply ALARA principles to minimize dose.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers; explain procedures clearly using AIDET.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, safety and proper positioning during exams; maintain clean work areas.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; communicate results as needed.
• Support department workflow, restock and assist in maintaining regulatory compliance.
