Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to perform CT imaging procedures and ensure safety and quality in all exams. The role requires technicians to work under Radiologist supervision, maintain QC logs, and provide compassionate patient care.

Applicants should have ARRT registration within 90 days, state radiologic technician credentials, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience; CT-specific training is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• CPR/Healthcare Provider CPR within 30 days.
• Minimum 1 year radiologic/imaging experience.
• Specific CT training/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures and other imaging as assigned.
• Ensure patient safety to minimize hazards (electric shock, burns, radiation).
• Position patients and adjust equipment for optimal exam results.
• Work under Radiologist supervision.
• Maintain QC checks and logs; document deviations.
