Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• N/A work experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with Radiologist before performing exam.
• Identify patients with two identifiers and explain procedure.
• Interview patients for medical history and document on requisitions.
• Oversee the exam from start to finish and dictate results.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast per protocol and document usage.
• Evaluate image quality and coordinate with Radiologist as needed.
• Provide basic patient care and communicate changes in condition.
• Operate CT scanner and related systems; ensure sterile technique and safety.
