Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist in Cape Coral, FL to join a dedicated radiology team. You will perform high quality CT exams, monitor patient safety, administer contrast, and guide patients through the exam process to ensure comfort and accuracy.

Qualifications

• State licensure or ARRT (R) certification required, and ARRT (CT) preferred.
• BLS certification may be required depending on state.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through the exam process by explaining steps and answering questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguards patient health information and property in accordance with policies.
• Safeguards on-site medications per company procedures and legal requirements.
• Demonstrates professional behavior toward patients and coworkers at all times.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

You Will

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize s patient discomfort or medical problems and take s appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
