Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high quality CT exams, monitor patient well‑being, and administer contrast safely. You will communicate clearly with patients and physicians, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure.

Qualifications

• State licensure and ARRT (R) and/or ARRT (CT) as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification depending on state regulations.
• At least 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively.
• Guide patients through exam procedures and answer questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and property and comply with PHI regulations.
• Safeguard medications on site per policies and legal requirements.
• Interact professionally with patients and coworkers and respect boundaries.

When you join RadNet as a CT Technologist , you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21 st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize s patient discomfort or medical problems and take s appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
