Job summary

Baptist Health seeks a CT Technologist to join the CT Department at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This PRN, varied shifts role focuses on delivering high-quality CT imaging, patient safety, and education throughout procedures.

Responsibilities include operating GE CT equipment, patient preparation, and collaboration with radiologists to ensure optimal results. ARRT (R), CRT, and BLS required with certification within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years radiology experience preferred
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Must pass ARRT CT certification within 12 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures per established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists for optimal imaging results
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Adhere to radiation safety standards
• Educate patients on the CT process
