Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT Scan Department at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, Florida. This is a Full-Time Weekends opportunity working Saturday-Monday 10:30am-11:00pm and eligible for up to $12,000 sign-on bonus.

As a CT Technologist, you will operate and calibrate GE equipment, prepare patients for procedures including IV contrast, ensure patient comfort and safety, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards while delivering high-quality imaging services

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, Florida. This is a Full-Time Weekends opportunity working Saturday-Monday 10:30am-11:00pm.

At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for:

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.
