Job summary

Baptist Health in Fleming Island, FL seeks a CT Technologist to join the CT Department on a PRN, variable-shift basis. Responsibilities include performing CT procedures, patient prep, IV contrast administration, and maintaining procedure documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

ARRT(R), CRT, and BLS are required; 1–2 years radiology experience preferred. Primary location: Clay - Main Building.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years radiology experience preferred.
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
• Customer Service Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Department at Baptist Clay in Flemming Island, Florida. This is a PRN, Varied Shifts opportunity.

At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

CT Technologist Responsibilities

Experience Requirements

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience Preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred
• Customer Service Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements

• Vocational School or Associate's Degree
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARRT within 12 months of hire date.
