Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a CT Technologist at St. Mary's Hospital for PRN coverage during day and evening shifts. The role focuses on diagnostic CT imaging and direct patient care using CT scanners, with attention to image quality and safety.

The position requires ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology, CT modality registration (preferred or within two years), and valid BLS. Prior CT experience is welcome, as is Epic and PACS familiarity.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from ARRT accredited program (preferred).
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
• 1 year CT/Rad Tech experience preferred.
• ARRT CT modality registration preferred (or within two years).
• State licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures image quality and correct patient/procedural data.
• Performs CT procedures and timely imaging.
• Performs required timeouts per policy.
• Positions and immobilizes patients for CT exams.
• Administers contrast agents per procedures and physician orders.
• Inserts IVs as needed and assists with contrast use.
• Assists radiologist with biopsies and related procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of CT IT systems (Radiant, PACS).
• Participates in on-call rotations.
