Job summary

Bon Secours Health System is seeking a CT Technologist for weekend coverage at St. Francis Medical Center in Richmond, VA. The role supports evenings and nights with a 36-hour weekly schedule, performing CT procedures and patient-centered imaging.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology, BLS, and CT modality registration (preferred or within two years). 1 year CT/radiology tech experience and strong teamwork are desired. EPIC and PACS experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s ARRT accredited program preferred.
• BLS required at hire; ARRT certification required.
• Advanced CT modality registration preferred or must obtain within two years.
• 1 year CT or Rad Tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures image quality and confirms patient/procedural data.
• Performs CT procedures.
• Performs timeout per policy.
• Positions and immobilizes patients for CT scans.
• Obtains radiation exposures per physician request and patient history.
• Administers contrast agents as required by procedure.
• Assists radiologist with biopsies and drainage using sterile technique.
• Maintains CT IT systems knowledge (Radiant, PACS).
• Participates in on-call rotation.
