Job summary

Bon Secours in Virginia is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners, provide direct patient care, and assist radiologists in procedures. You will ensure image quality, manage data accuracy, and participate in on-call rotations.

Ideal candidates have ARRT certification, BLS, and at least one year of CT experience; EPIC/PACS knowledge is a plus. The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from ARRT-accredited institute (preferred).
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required at hire for some locations; preferred at hire, required prior to independent patient care at Bon Secours locations.
• ARRT Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
• Advanced modality registration in CT (preferred, or obtained within two years).
• State licensure (preferred, unless required by the state).
• 1 year CT or Radiologic Tech experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensures image quality and verifies patient data.
• Performs CT procedures.
• Performs required timeouts per policy.
• Positions and immobilizes patients for CT scans.
• Administers contrast agents as directed.
• Assists radiologist with biopsies or drainage procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of CT IT systems (Radiant, PACS).
• Participates in on-call rotation.
