Job summary

State of Franklin Healthcare Associates is seeking a CT Technologist for the Johnson City imaging center. You will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, perform IV contrast injections, and assist with accreditation and workflow coordination.

The role requires radiologic credentials, ARRT and BLS certification, and at least one year of CT experience. On-site position at the SOFHA Outpatient Imaging Center in Johnson City, TN.

Qualifications

• Requires a radiology technology credential and ARRT registration.
• Minimum of one year CT scan experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• X-ray operator license from state health department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, power injectors and related equipment.
• Position patients using positioning devices and PPE.
• Load and manage contrast media injections.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow.
• Assist with ACR accreditation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complex operation of CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment
• Position patients for CT using patient positioning devices and PPE
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology
• Loading and operating power injections for contrast media administration
• Proficient in IV placement
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow
• Assist with ACR accreditation
• Maintain strict confidentiality
• Follow organizational policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program

EXPERIENCE:

Candidates must have a minimum of one year experience in CT scan applications.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• License with the Tennessee State Department of Health as an X-Ray Operator.
• Certificate received from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART). Advanced certification in CT preferred.
• If not registered, CT Registration through ARRT required within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
