Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital – Madison is seeking a PRN CT technologist to perform CT procedures and support the CT department.

The role requires completing a Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy program and a commitment to obtaining CT credentials within 12 months of hire. Primary responsibilities include patient positioning, contrast administration, safety adherence, and collaboration with radiologists and the CT team.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program.
• Commitment to obtaining CT credential within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs computerized tomographic procedures for diagnosis of disease and injury according to radiologists' protocols.
• Prepare and position patients and select appropriate parameters accurately.
• Administer contrast media and/or medications within scope and regulations.
• Monitor patient during procedure and ensure safety and protocol compliance.
