Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Park is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join our team. You will perform CT procedures, ensure infection control, and document in EMR/PACS while educating patients about exams.

The role requires ARRT CT and RT credentials, CPR, and 1+ year radiology experience. Work is PRN with varying shifts; the site emphasizes compassionate care and faith-based service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in radiology and completion of CT training program (Preferred).
• Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT)) – Required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - CT (ARRT-CT) – Preferred.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification – Required.

Responsibilities

• Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the EMR and PACS systems.
• Educates patients about the exam and completes all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.

Job Description:

Shift Information: PRN (Per Diem) hours will vary on all shifts and weekends.
