Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT imaging with strict infection control and patient safety. You will follow department protocols, document in EMR/PACS, and educate patients about each exam to ensure timely completion.

The role requires knowledge of CT procedures, safe operation of scanners and equipment, and strong communication with diverse patients. This is a day-shift, on-site opportunity with AdventHealth benefits.

Qualifications

Job Description

• Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
• Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of CT procedures

Education

• Associate [Preferred]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience

• 1+ years experience in radiology and completion of CT training program [Preferred]

Pay Range

$28.97 - $53.88
