Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a CT Technologist PRN for the Radiology Department at Texas Health Arlington Memorial in Arlington, TX. You will perform imaging procedures, position patients, and ensure quality and safety across procedures in a collaborative team environment.

This role requires ARRT CT certification and BCLS, with 1 year radiologic technician experience or ARRT-CT waiver. A degree is preferred, shifts are variable, and a strong field of opportunities and benefits awaits.

Qualifications

  • Must be graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • CLIAFE must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.

Responsibilities

  • Imaging Procedures, Quality and Processing
  • Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member prior to exam
  • Positions patient to correct anatomical area of interest
  • Patient Care
  • Uses multidisciplinary, team oriented actions
  • Assesses and recognizes the patient's emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance
  • Adjusts technical factors
  • Operates, cares for and maintains equipment
  • Professional Accountability and Partnership
  • Maintains and enhances technical skills and technology advancement
  • Performs any assignment deemed necessary by supervisor

Work hours: PRN (As Needed) Variable Shifts

Education
  • Other Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required Or
  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • Other- CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
Experience
  • 1 year radiologic technician experience w/out ARRT-CT required or
  • no experience w/ARRT-CT required
Licenses and Certifications
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R upon hire required
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT (w/no radiology technician exp) upon hire required
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT (w/1 year radiology technician exp) 12 months required
  • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (either by the TDH or TMB) upon hire required
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
