Job summary

A critical illness recovery hospital in Savannah is seeking a CT Technologist to prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and operate imaging equipment. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and 1 year as a CT Technologist. Required certifications include ARRT or CMRT and Basic Life Support (BLS). Location: Savannah, GA

Schedule: Per Diem/PRN

Compensation: $32.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
• Use proper patient positioning and technical factors to consistently produce quality diagnostic studies.
• Correctly operate a CT scanner to produce cross‑sectional images of desired patient anatomy.
• Administer contrast media as directed by the referring physician.
• Monitor the patient for any adverse drug events and report accordingly.
• Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
• Perform clerical duties, as needed, such as answering phones.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).
• At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
• Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating facility‑specific equipment desirable.
