Baptist Health Imaging seeks a CT Tech for PRN days to perform CT procedures and support radiology imaging services. Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology.
• Current ARRT Registry and current KY Board license are required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Advanced ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography within 1 year of hire is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of related radiology experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides CT imaging using pulsed x-ray energy to aid diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs CT procedures and image processing for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
• Exercises professional judgment in service delivery and maintains professional ethics.
• Recognizes patient conditions to ensure appropriate care and successful exam completion.

CT Tech

Baptist Health Imaging, where compassionate care meets advanced imaging and treatment. Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound. Key Responsibilities:

• Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.

• Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.

• Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.

• Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Requirements:

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology

• Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry

• Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy

• Advanced ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography required within one (1) year of hire

• 3 Years of related experience

• Current BLS Certification
