Job summary

Frankfort Regional Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. You will operate radiology equipment, adhere to ALARA principles, and support a collaborative team in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, and a Kentucky Radiation Operators Certificate, with CT certification preferred to enhance advanced imaging

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Kentucky Radiation Operators Certificate.
• Advanced Certification in CT (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures as assigned.
• Operate radiology equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure for each patient.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and safety protocols to ensure safe patient care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• You will perform procedures in multiple modalities, which may include:CT and Diagnostic X-ray. It is expected thatstaff work in the modality assigned as volume and patient load dictates to ensure quality and safe care of patients.

• You are responsible for performing a variety of complex specialized technical tasks utilizing radiation to assist with the detection of anatomical abnormalities.

• You have working knowledge of the equipment used and operates equipment to produce quality images in the most efficient and safe manner.

• You have knowledge of Radiation Safety principles and applies ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) concepts to every patient, every time.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)

• Kentucky Radiation Operators Certificate

• Advanced Certification in (CT) preferred
