Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Kentucky is seeking a CT Technologist for PRN shifts. The role performs CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures, ensuring quality images while applying ALARA and radiation safety principles.

ARRT registration and Kentucky Radiation Operators Certificate are required; CT certification preferred. You will work with a compassionate team in a patient-centered environment that values growth, safety, and quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Kentucky Radiation Operators Certificate.
• Advanced Certification in CT (preferred).

Responsabilités

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• You will perform procedures in multiple modalities, which may include:CT and Diagnostic X-ray. It is expected that staff work in the modality assigned as volume and patient load dictates to ensure quality and safe care of patients.
• You are responsible for performing a variety of complex specialized technical tasks utilizing radiation to assist with the detection of anatomical abnormalities.
• You have working knowledge of the equipment used and operates equipment to produce quality images in the most efficient and safe manner.
• You have knowledge of Radiation Safety principles and applies ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) concepts to every patient, every time.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Kentucky Radiation Operators Certificate
• Advanced Certification in (CT) preferred
