• Operate equipment to produce quality images efficiently.
• Apply ALARA principles to every patient to minimize exposure.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Whatyou will do in this role:

• You will perform procedures in multiple modalities, which mayinclude:CTand Diagnostic X-ray. It is expected thatMulti-Modalitystaff work in the modality assigned as volume and patient load dictates to ensure quality and safe care of patients.

• Youare responsible forperforming a variety of complex specialized technical tasksutilizingradiation toassistwith the detection of anatomical abnormalities.

• You have working knowledge of the equipment used andoperatesequipment to produce quality images in the most efficient and safe manner.

• You have knowledge of Radiation Safety principles andappliesALARA (As LowAsReasonably Achievable) concepts to every patient, every time.
  

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)

• Kentucky Radiation Operators Certificate

• Advanced Certification in (CT) preferred
