We currently have an opening for a PRN CT Technologist who is a talented individual possessing a solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to retain customers by providing world-class customer service. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, willing to learn MRI, also perform routine x-ray and bone densitometry, and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Functions

• Performs CT procedures, including instructing and preparing patients and performing the examination ordered.
• Verifies patient’s identification and confirms physician’s orders prior to the procedure.
• Obtains pertinent and thorough medical information/history to assist the radiologist in assessment and diagnosis.
• Completes all necessary paperwork and computer work to expedite patient flow, ensure proper completion of exams, verify images in PACS, and facilitate prompt patient release.
• Adheres to established policies, procedures, quality assurance programs, and safety standards.
• Performs IV starts as required.

Essential Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a similar field
• State licensure
• Current ARRT/CT certification
• Knowledge of safety requirements and hazard recognition
• Knowledge of medical equipment and patient care instruments
• Effective communication and cooperation with radiologists and other departments
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, and the public
• Excellent customer service skills and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Flexibility in scheduling
