Job summary

Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah is seeking a CT Technologist PRN to join a supportive radiology team. You will assist radiologists with various CT procedures, manage contrast administration, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked department while aiding patients onto the scanner table.

The role offers PRN scheduling and opportunities to learn and grow within a nationally recognized hospital system.

Qualifications

• CPR/Basic Life Support required within 7 days of start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography credential required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential required.

Responsibilities

• Administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate for allergic reactions; establish IV for exams.
• Load and operate MedRad power injector.
• Operate CT equipment; follow ALARA; follow physician protocols and scan appropriately.
• Assist interventional radiologists with procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment and stock supplies and linens.
• Help patients onto and off the scanner table, including moving and lifting.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a CT Technologist, you will work with our friendly radiologists assisting with various types of procedures. There are always opportunities to learn new things and be challenged in your career. • You will administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for any allergic reactions; place correct IV for the exam being performed.

• You will be loading and operating MedRad power injector.

• You will operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately.

• You will be assisting interventional radiologists with procedures.

• You will be maintaining a clean work environment and stock the department with supplies and linens.

• You will be moving, lifting, and assisting patients onto and off the scanner table.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Associate Degree
