Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, FL, is seeking a Per Diem CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.

The role requires ARRT CT and Radiography credentials, BLS, and strong knowledge of PACS. You will collaborate with radiologists and staff, educate patients, and uphold ALARA principles while delivering compassionate care in

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required).
• Associate and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ARRT Radiography and CT credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols.
• Review patient history to confirm exam appropriateness and contraindications.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA principles.
• Educate patients about exams and complete documentation in EMR/PACS.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure imaging quality and continuity of care.
