You will operate CT equipment, process images, and maintain exams per site protocols. Required ARRT RT(R) certification (or registry eligible) with CT certification preferred; CPR and IL license eligibility are expected.

Qualifications

• ARRT RT(R) certification required or registry eligible.
• ARRT Radiology and CT certifications preferred.
• Current Illinois radiology license or eligibility preferred.
• CPR certification or willingness to become certified.
• One to three years CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and/or Bone Densitometry exams as prescribed by physicians.
• Prepare CT room and equipment according to procedures.
• Transport patients to and from the CT area as needed.
• Explain steps to patients and obtain required signatures on consent.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for reactions; evaluate veins.
• Position patients and ensure accuracy per site protocols.
