Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Current ARRT credential required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient medical history and orders before imaging procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media when ordered within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to changes.
• Prepare CT equipment, supplies and imaging areas for procedures.
• Follow radiation safety standards and imaging quality guidelines.
• Perform quality control checks on CT equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report issues.
• Position patients and perform CT imaging procedures.
• Review imaging results for quality and address technical issues.
• Document and report imaging results as required.
• Engage in performance improvement and continuing education activities.
• Provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with clinical teams.
• Work flexible shifts or units as needed.
