Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ARRT credential required.
• CT certification preferred at hire, or obtain within 12 months.
• Ability to perform CT imaging procedures safely.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders before imaging.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Prepare CT equipment, supplies, and imaging areas.
• Uphold patient safety and radiation standards.
• Perform equipment quality control checks.
• Troubleshoot or report equipment malfunctions.
• Position patients and perform CT imaging.
• Review imaging results for quality and address issues.
• Take corrective actions, including repositioning.
• Enter and report results per procedures.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with clinical teams.
• Work flexible shifts or units as needed.
