Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Current ARRT credential required.
• BLS certification required.
• CT certification preferred at time of hire; must obtain CT certification within one year if not currently certified.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders before imaging procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to changes.
• Prepare CT equipment, supplies, and imaging areas for procedures.
• Follow safety standards for patients and radiation.
• Perform QC checks on imaging equipment and report malfunctions.
• Position patients and perform CT imaging procedures.
• Review images for quality and troubleshoot issues.
• Document and report imaging results per procedures.
• Participate in QA and continuing education.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide high-quality patient care.
